Doug joined FJ in 2019 as a consultant to the Practice and as Partner in charge of providing technical, final, and concurring quality reviews of audit and attest engagements. Doug has over 35 years of experience in conducting audits and reviewing tax returns, as well as providing expert advice on complex tax transactions, particularly in real estate, as well as for business combinations, acquisitions and dissolutions. Doug’s audit experience includes several years providing reviews of HUD audits and other entities in the assisted housing industry. In his spare time, Doug likes to water ski, hunt and fish, and is a part-time real estate developer and aspiring hunting and fishing guide. Doug is married, has three children and three grand-children.
